2018 Noir Pinot Noir - MAGNUM

From Whisson Lake’s Gully Block. 50% whole bunches. 3 barrels. Richer deeper soil on the mid-slope supports a fairly lush canopy which, along with its sheltered micro-valley of the vineyard, has no problems ripening Pinot Noir into a brooding dark fruited expression.

Blackberries, dark chocolate, dark cherry, Cherry Ripe, earth and spice set a serious tone which follows through on the palate but a vein of dark fruited acidity supports the weight along with background tannins.
